Can you make an arrow from a spot to another spot in MS Office S.

In MS Office Student Teacher Edition, I can't seem to make the text box
appear where I want and form an arrow from the box to a spot in a picture.
Does this edition allow this? Thanks.

Instead of trying to create a text box and arrow separately, use one of the
"Callout" AutoShapes, which already have an arrow and a "balloon" for text.

Hi Tamotsu,

You didn't mention if the version of Word you have is 2002
or 2003. There was a problem (fixed) in 2002 you may be
running into. In 2003 be sure that when you select the
Arrow that you check the Drawing Toolbar Draw=>Text Wrapping
to select something other than 'inline with text' for the
arrow before you place it. Then select (hold down the ctrl key)
both the arrow and the text box and use Draw=>Group to combine
them to lock the arrow to it if you're not using the MS Word
drawing canvas.
