You might try again today; they seem to be working fine from here,
anyway.
At least you'll be able to tell your IT people that the MS downloads are
working.
I believe you need to allow ActiveX controls for these downloads. Also,
you
may be seeing issues if you're downloading, for example, a Publisher
template but you don't have Publisher installed. The templates actually
open
up in whatever application they're designed for.

No one at my company can download any of the templates off the MS
website -
only have some old 2005 templates - is there any other source for
these
templates? Is it a site problem?
