Cannot Edit Attachments received in Email

Hi.
I am running Outlook 2000. When I receive an attachment
in an email, say Excel, after I change the data and
attempt to resend the email with the changes- the changes
do not stick.

Does anyone have any advice or tips?

Attach the file you edited, not the temp copy. You forwarding an e-mail
that has an attachment forwards THAT attachment that is STILL part of
that e-mail message. That attachment did not vaporize simply because
you chose to save it separately of the e-mail message. The e-mail
message will still have the same attachment it had before - unless you
delete it! Delete the attachment when forwarding and attach YOUR
modified copy of it.
