Cannot Edit the Resource Type

Hello,

If I insert the Resource Type column into project, I find that I am unable
to edit the field after having filled a resource sheet with resources. The
Resource Type field states whether a resource is Work or Material but I am
not sure why you cannot toggle Work or Field in the Resource Type column.

Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me.

Hi Glenn,

What view did you insert the Resource Type column into? The Type field in a
**resource view** (like resource sheet or resource usage) is editable. It
will show work or material.

However, the Resource Type field inserted into the Task Usage view is
showing the resource type of the resource assigned to the task. It is not
editable.
