cannot open 4.10 mb publisher document in xp pro

I added two pages to a publisher document and now cannot open the document on
my computer--memory? How do I fix this? Thanks for any help.

Are you opening this file in the same version of Publisher and on the same
machine? Are you getting an error message?

Same program, same machine.

Message : "publisher cannot open file" with a big yellow exclamation point.

The file is 4.1 MB.

I am not sure, but believe the addition of 2 new blank pages might have
something to do with it.

At one time, you could increase the size of the memory. Could this be the
problem?

I am on a new computer with new system. It is XP and a dell 3000.
