The world is full of dickwads, fuckwits, fuckwads, dickwits and twats -
you've just been added to the top three. Have you ever heard of Google?!
This question is asked and answered at least a half-dozen times *A DAY*. Ten
seconds Googling would have found you the answer (and if you claim to have
Googled, you're either a liar or more stupid than I have credited you for).

I will say this once and once only - I will never again post the answer to
this question - this question will merely be met with "Google it fuckwit!"
Got that?!

OK, now I will spell it out to you, nice and slow, so whatever it is inside
your head that passes for your brain can take it in: -

G E T R I D O F N O R T O N A N T I V I R U S

Right, that's it. The whole world, apart from a select few, is comprised of
dickwads and fuckwits and these groups are living testament.

Sarah,

I see you are having a fun day! Let me live dangerously and suggest the
use of an *, or maybe a few of them, so that those who really don't
appreciate profanity will still understand your meaning but won't read
the real words!

If you have Norton disable "script blocking" and in Norton options, disable "Office
plug-ins" as well.

I tried this and I still cannot open a publisher 98 file in publisher 2000.
Any other suggestions.

Try double-clicking a 98 file.
I have no other solution for your issue. Are you certain the file is 98 and not
2002-03?

The file was created on another computer and the file was labeled 98 version.
I am trying to open it on my computer using Windows XP Professional, Office
2000
and I just reinstalled Publisher 2000. I disabled Nortons scripting and
Office add-0n.
I also emailed it to myself hoping I could open it, but no. I just saved it
to Word on the other computer and emiled that to me so now I have the wording
but I do not have the formatting. I should be able to cut and paste the words
into Publisher, correct?
Thanks for any help

You should be able to cut and paste the text.
Can you send me the file? I will check to see what version Publisher created the
file.
Send to gsauer at columbus dot rr dot com
