Cannot open saved document

Hi, I have created a document in Microsoft Publisher, saved it as a
Publisher document in a file where I save all my Word documents, and did NOT
save it in Publisher. Now when I try to open it again with Publisher I get a
message “Publisher cannot open the fileâ€. And when I try to open it in Word,
it also doesn’t open. It is saved on the hard drive, but I cannot access it.
Do you have any suggestions?

Where you saved the file isn't the issue and Word can't open any Publisher
files. If you know someone with Publisher, ask if they can open it. This
will tell you if it's something about your system or the file itself.
