cannot open word document previously saved.

I spent all day working while online and saved my file when I finished. I
disconnected the net then discovered i cannot open the file. when i try i get
message saying name of the doc name or path is invalid but the file is still
there! I've tried opening it every way please help

Open Windows Explorer, or double click on My Computer icon
on the desktop and search for the file. Once located,
double click on the file name.
