cannot send/receive

Hi,

I am not able to use outlook 2003 since i am getting "You
Don't have appropriate permission to perform the
operations." when i click send/receive button????

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: i have only one account

Try a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show Profiles.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

I have done it , even install outlook again but still i
am getting the error. I was using it with no difficulty
but from the last week after (maybe) installing the patch
for Sasser worm i am getting this message!

Somewhere i read that i need to logon using local admin
profile and try to set up the account.How do i do that ?I
am already the admin for the laptop.Is it the same thing?
