cannot show "My recent docs" under Office button

I cannot see any "recent documents" under the Office button and in the Word
options area under Advanced "show this nymber of recent documents" is
deselected. All I need to know is how to reactivate this (also I am the
administrator)

I have Office 2007 running on Windows XP and cannot find the Tweak UI
program. Is there another way for me to do it

Some security suite programs can suppress the recently used file list
like TweakUI. Look for the registry key mentioned in KB284896, check
the value, and change it if necessary.
