cannot view cnn videos using IE6 and WMseries9

I have tried for weeks to view cnn videos but haven't been sucessful. I have
IE6
and WMPseries9 both have latest updates and WindowsME, also updated. Cnn
downloads FLV_AUTO_FILE into my tempoary files and I still can't seem to open
this file to play it. I have checked file type ext. .FLV and it says WMP
will open
this file. Does anyone know what my problem can be?

I'm afraid the Microsoft Project product, which this newsgroup is devoted
to, will not solve this.
