Can't activate Office 2007 on laptop

If this is in the wrong forum, sorry. Not too sure where i was meant to put it.

I recently purchased a subscription license from the "itsnotcheating.com.au"
uni student offer, for 1 year. After installing it onto my desktop
successfully, i tried to install it on my laptop using the same product key i
used on the desktop.

Unfortunately, it says when i activate it on the internet, since my product
key was already used and activated on my desktop comp, i can't use it again.
It also doesn't allow me to activate it over the phone, so now i'm stuck.

According to the terms of purchase, i can use this key on a desktop AND a
portable computer used by me.

So i was wondering, how would i go about activating it now?

Thanks for any help.

Are you surprised that you are having difficulties when you purchase Office
from a site with that name?

Contact that site and tell them what the issues are. See if they can resolve
it for you.

This was an offer run by Microsoft for uni students in Australia. We pay for
a real product key, at a much cheaper price.
http://www.microsoft.com/australia/education/unistudentoffer/default.mspx
Offer's over now, and MS closed down the website.

Anyways, my problem was activating Office on my laptop after activating on a
desktop, using the same key. According to the terms, i can use the key
legally on a portable AS WELL as the desktop. When i try, it says i can't.

Any help? IF this is the wrong place to ask, anyone can tell me where to
post this?

Thanks for helping.

Call Microsoft. During the activation process it should give you a number to
call.
