Can't activate XP on my desktop

T

Tracey

I installed XP on my laptop and am trying to install it on
my desktop also. The EULA indicates you can use this
software on these two devices, however I am unable to
activate the second-installed program. Any suggestions?

Hi Tracey,

If it's an OEM edition of Office XP it's limited to one
machine and not transferable. If it's Office XP Student
& Teachers Edition it can be transferred but used on only
one machine. If it's a boxed retail product then it can
be installed on a portable + desktop PC of the same user.
If you can't activate online use the telephone activation
method to speak to a MS technician.
