can't adjust or resize toolbar

This may be the dumbest. toolbar. question. ever.

I accidentally made a toolbar vertical, but I need it horizontal.

I'm grabbing the lower left hand corner to no avail.

I'm on Word 2004 on a Mac running 10.4.7.

I can resize some other toolbars, just not this one.

Any ideas?

Well, it's the lower right hand corner, but I'm guessing you just mistyped.
The one with the lines (which I think move from corner to corner)

Works here--push the mouse UP first for faster response, pulling OUT to the
right took a little longer.

Is this a custom or default toolbar?

Yes, I mistyped; I meant to say the lower right hand corner.
This is a custom toolbar, I've tried adjusting it with the mouse and my
wacom stylus. I've also tried moving the buttons around, editing them,
everything I can think of.
I've also tried to control-click or option-click on the toolbar to see
if that helps. It doesn't.
I've quit and relaunched Word to no avail.
I may be resigned to delete and recreate the toolbar, but I shouldn't
have to. What a silly little problem this is.

Ha! I quit Word and left my computer for an hour, relaunched, and it
worked!
Go figure.
Thanks for your response.
