Can't attach dynamic web template

D

Dick

I'm in a pickle. I made some changes to a dynamic web template but I can not
get to change all pages. It changed one but not the other 45. Any suggestons
appreciated.

If you're editing live on a server, you will need to open all 45 pages that contain it.
Or, edit on your disk based copy, update the pages and then publish.

This is a known issue that involves the FrontPage extensions.

However, if your web is hosted on a Windows 2003 server, there is a hot fix available:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;895193

Takes a call to MSFT support, but there is no charge.

Note: the hot fix is for Windows 2003 Server only.

they are a W 2003 Server?

You need to ask them if they're running windows 2003, and if so, ask them if
they've installed the hot fix.

If you don't know what O/S - Server your web site is hosted on, you need to
contact your host. But, if you look at http://www.dnswiz.com/fptype.htm ,
it shows that netfirms.com is an Apache server on Unix.

You don't need to open the pages
You can just select them all in Folder List or View and use DWT Attach
