Can't connect to Project Pro yet able to connect to PWA

I’m encountering a very peculiar issue related to users who try to log in,
with their windows credentials, to Project Professional from their desktops.
Users get a “Login failed message. Invalid username and password†when they
try to connect to it yet they can successfully access PWA using the same
credentials (For both instances their windows username and password is passed
through so they should never be prompted). What I’m seeing is that as soon as
they make a connection to PWA they can then connect to Project Pro.

So the issue here is why they need to first access PWA before they can
connect to Project Pro. Keep in mind that it doesn’t happen all of the time.
As long as their credentials are cached they can connect to Pro even if they
close PWA but they just need to make that initial PWA connection before they
can connect to Pro. I don't see this as an access/permissions issue since the
account I'm trying to log in with has admin rights.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Char,
Make sure the security for Trusted Sites in IE is set to Low. We've seen
where either IE7 or Vista will set it back to Medium after EPM set it to Low.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your response. The IE settings are set and remain at Low at all
times. I notice that when I delete the cookies from IE I can't log in to Pro
again until I re-establsh the connection to PWA.
