can't copy text

I am trying to make a folded booklet. I have it set up and now I am using
copy and paste. This is working well with pictures, but when I copy text, it
is a blank page on clipboard and when I paste. This is the first time I've
used Publisher. Can anyone help?

Where is the text coming from? Are you high-lighting the text before you copy?
In Publisher, create a text box, with your cursor inside the text box, paste.
