You have given far too little information for anyone to be of help.
What patches have you applied to Office? Do you have a mail account
installed? Could you at one time mail from Outlook/Office 97? What is your
default mail handler? Where are you expecting this recipients button to
appear? XP comes in both an Office flavor and Windows flavor - which are
you referring to by "am using XP?"
