Can't get my standard calendar standard for my location

I have the French version of Ms-Project 2002, but I live in Québec
where our working ours are similar to the US. So the standard calendar
in Global.mpt has working ours like: 9:00 to 13:00, then 14:00 to
18:00.

When I open this calendar to change the working hours for all working
days, initialy the days have different background to indicate: 1-
standard hours (white), 2-not working, and 3-overriden standard hours
(translated from french), grey dashed background.

Now, I whish to change my standard working hours to the standard in my
place, when I do so, all days get the gray dashed background,
indicating overiden from standards ours. I dont want that, as I feel I
am loosing a functionality, which is visualy findindg if I did override
one the hours of one day for some reason.

Is there way to get these days background white?

Hi,

No,I'm sorry.
The default is cast in concrete and everything else is nondefault.

I also happen to be a C++, VB and C# programmer.
Well, that Global.mpt got to be produced by somoene somewhere, since
there is a version in German, French, US...etc.

What tool is being used to produce the Global.mpt. Can I have it?

The other way would be to use a good hex editor, and hack the ours in,
but I'm a senior programmer now, and I dont have much time anymore...

No concrete in software, just anoying lack of support or talent.

I suggest you direct this question to Microsoft directly. I don't think
there's anybody likely to read this newsgroup that can help.
