Can't get Office 2000 Pro updates!

I have prob similar to Bill Mitchell.
When I go to office downloads I keep being instructed that
I must download and install (I think)SR-1 before I can
download any other updates. I have downloaded o2ksr1a.exe
a few times now. Everytime I try to install I get a
request for Office 2000 Premium disk. I do not have this
disk, I have 2 disks containing Office 200 Professional,
which, when inserted, result in a window declaring the
disk 'invalid'. My PC has never had any other Office suite
loaded so there can be no conflict, I loaded the suite on
myself and have the disks. I have exactly the same problem
on another PC with the same software but different product
key.

Any assistance greatly appreciated, but please - I am not
technical - any advice needs to be idiot proof!

Microsoft has required the Original disk to be in the cd drive when
installing any updates.
