can't open any word documents

Hello,

Does anyone know why I would be having problems opening a
word document? I have windows xp installed on my computer
here at work and just starting today I cannot open any
word documents. It says "not available", followed by a
window that pops up asking me if I want to revert to a
file called normal.doc.

I can create new word documents and save them to any
folder, but then cannot access them onced saved.

HELP!!!

Thanks, Raina

Hi, Raina. If you are running Norton Antivirus, then disable the Office
Plugin that comes with it by clicking on Start | Programs | Norton | Options
| Miscellaneous | uncheck the "Enable Office Plugin" box.
