Having a problem that's driving me up the wall!
Specs: XP Pro sp2 running Outlook 2003 with latest updates
Prob: I can send and receive email in OWA 2003, but I cannot open
attachments.
Error: "Internet Explorer cannot download...[attachment] from .
Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The
requested site is unavailable or cannot be found."
But I can browse the site with no problems, even FTP from it, and also
tried disabling the firewall and virus scanner with no success. I can
RDP to the web/mail server no problem, but I can't save attachments
from webmail?
When I try using Outlook 2003, I can send emails but cannot receive
email. I've deleted the account and set it up again to no avail.
The Outlook error I get is, "Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The
specified server was found, but there was no response from the server.
Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct." I have
checked the port and SSL settings and they are fine.
Yet I have another laptop setup exactly the same way that works
perfect. Arrgh!...Please help!
