Can't Resize Calendar

I donwloaded a calendar template from the MS Office website, but it will not
resize to the size I need. The template name is 2007-2008 school year, and
comes in the default size of 9.5 x 7.5. I need it to be 8.675 x 5.675. If I
click on "Change Page Size" and then manually change the size of the page,
the page flashes but does not actually change. It is almost like the
document is locked and can't be resized.

Any suggestions?

Is the stock you plan to use the size you stated here?
If this is the case, you will have to setup your printer for a custom size. Once
the printer is setup, Publisher will reflect the new size in the page setup. You
will have to manually adjust the calendar.
Which template is it?

Thanks for the suggestion, Mary.

Even after adjusting the printer settings, the document size will not
adjust. This is a downloaded template named "2007-2008 academic calendar
(1-pg., Mon-Sun)". I am using an online printing service and the size of the
document needs to be 8.675 x 5.675. The printing service gives step by step
directions to resize the publication, but for some reason the adjustments
don't affect this document. I have resized home-made publications without
any problems, which leads me to believe there's something different about
this template.

Another thing that has me baffled is that I save the template to the default
location (c:\docs & settings\mark\app data\MS\templates) and there are no
other tempates in that directory. Also the template does not show up as an
option when I look under templates within the program.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi again. I downloaded your calendar. There is an semi-transparent overlay, if
you move it away into the scratch area you can resize the rest of the objects.
If this is the calendar with the globe, it will distort somewhat when you do
resize.
Group all the months together and they will resize without losing anything,
however you will have to re-adjust their positions.

Thanks, Mary. It was a lot of work, but your suggestions did allow me to
resize the calendar.
