I type account number in cell and it turn into 2.50021e+12.
I check the format o cell and it just gernral. The
2.50021e+12 is underline. I not sure wy the cell is doing
this. I hoping somebody know what going on. The is Excel
2000.

Hi
if your account number consist of numbers and the letter 'E' Excel
thinks this is a numeric entry entered in scientific format. Try:
- format the cell as 'Text' before entering
- or precede the entry with an apostrophe. e.g. '123E23

How long is the account number? Excel only shows 15 significant numbers. If
you have an account number larger than this, you need to format the cells you
are entering in as text prior to your entering the information into it
