Certain funcntions are gone in Word 2000

The application is MS Word 2000.

I can no longer save a document in Word 2000 - I don't even get the "Save
As" dialogue window when I try to save or when closing a document. I have
tried
re-installing Office 2000 but the problem is still there.. Print, print
preview also is disabled. Clicking on the print icon, nothing happens.
Help?
