Certificate of Authenticity

Dennis

How do I locate a certificate of authenticity for Office
2000 small business edition which was part of an original
purchase on a gateway computer some 6 years ago?

I'm trying to load this software which was given to me by
Gateway on a new box I purchased through my company. I
don't have the numbers. Is there a location I can
find "generic" numbers to be loaded?

This is my own software, no ifs, ands or buts.

You cannot load this software on any other computer as it is OEM - meaning
that it is forever tied to the machine on which it was purchased. To load
Office on a new machine, you will need to acquire a retail version. Good
news is that your SBE qualifies you for the upgrade price edition.
