Change company - have tried KB821550 Office2003

Hi, I need to change company name in Office properties and documents. I've
gone through the KB article and done the regedit steps, found and edited the
right keys and in Word, the new company name shows up, but in Excel, I still
get the old one. This despite the fact that I did the last step "if one
program still shows..." and I deleted the UserInfo key. HELP, what to do?

Hi Patrick,

The changes in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821550?FR=1 will change new documents, but not necessarily older ones. You may also
find that if the new documents are created from a template or with an add-in that has the previous company name embedded in the
template that the name from the template, as a template property, will still be what is used and you may need to open the template
and change the property there as well.
