change font color of scanned signature

How do you change the font color of a scanned signature (the signature was
scanned into Microsoft Office Document Imaging)? I attempted to do this in
Office - it reflected the color change on the screen but did not print in
color selected.

A scanned image is just that, an image or bitmapped picture.
If you change the color of the bits the color of the image
will change. I can't see anywhere in Document Imaging where
you can change the colors of the imported or scanned image.
This program is used primarily to change typed text (as in
books, magazines, etc.) in images into words (optical
character recognition) that are then used in a text editor
(Word.)

You need to import or open the scanned image into a picture
editor (MS Paint, which is part of Windows XP, Photoshop,
Paint Shop Pro, etc.) will do the trick. Save the image with
a file name. There change the image to the color bits you
want and then import them into Word or what ever program as
a picture.
