How does one change legend titles

In the project, click File - Page Setup. Click the Legend tab and then
click the Left tab in the Alignment section. Edit or enter Legend info in
any of the three tabs. Hope this helps.

Actually that is the text we wanted to modify, i.e., instead of just
"Milestone" change it to state what type of Milestone — "Delivery milestone."
Is there anyway of updating that?

Yes. Just create you own in the Format/Bars dialog. You might like to see
