Changing back color

I have a continuous form, I also have a click button to make some changes on
the data, what I want is to change to red the back the specific text box of
the record that was modified, I tried with

Me!Lname.BackColor = 8388863

But did’t work

In a continuous form you will need to use Conditional Formatting (look
it up in the Help file if you are new to CF). Otherwise the entire
column's background color gets set.
