Changing resoource % does not change duration?

I have added a task and assigned a resource. Now, I have changed the %
available of this resource, but it will not adjust the duration. I
have the task set for fixed units. Any clues? It was working, but now
it seems it ignores the % available. Thanks.

Haven't you changed the %complete? Complete tasks aren't recalculated.
