Changing users / registrations

There are several versions of Office 2007 in the office at the moment,
Professional and Small Business Edition. I have one user with Small Business
Edition who needs to use Access, and a user with Professional who doesn't
need Access.

I want to swap their Office 2007 versions so that they have appropriate
programs available to them. I have installed Pro on the users machine who
needs Access, but unsurprisingly i cant register it as it is still activated
on the other users machine.

What must i do to enable this simple swap to occur? Can i simply un-install
Office on both machines, swap, then re-install?

Hi Ollie,

If these are OEM license versions then the license is tied to the machine where first activated and isn't transferable. If it's a
retail license and both units are desktops you may need to use phone activation to explain the situation to a license/activation
tech at Microsoft. There isn't a 'deactivation' feature in Office.

If you have more than 5 users you may want to take a look at the volume license choices at http://microsoft.com/licensing Volume
license activations and control can be managed by the license administrator.
