Chart legend size doen't change

I copied and pasted two similar charts from excel into
word but when I resize (made smaller) one of the charts in
word the legend size stays large. On the other chart the
legend resizes as I resize the chart. Is there a
difference in the two charts I copied and pasted? I
couldn't find one.
