Charts and text boxes do not appear in Print Preview

I have a large Word document that contains pictures (typically in Microsoft's
Picture format). These objects are visible in Print Layout view, but do not
appear in Print Preview. And when I print, the objects do NOT print -- but
all the text around them does.

How do I fix this? I am using Word 2000 and Windows 2000 Professional. Here
are a few things I have already tried, with no success:

1) Reducing the hardware acceleration setting.
2) Restarting, and making sure that my system has plenty of available memory.
3) Grouping several objects together; or ungrouping them (neither works).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Here are two other things I have tried, with no success:
1) Tools | Options | Print | Drawing objects -- this item IS checked.
2) Tools | Options | View| Drawings -- this item IS checked.

The "Drawing objects" check box in Tools | Options | Print would have been
my first guess. One outside possibility: if the images are In Line With Text
and you are displaying nonprinting characters (or at least Hidden text),
check to make sure the pictures aren't formatted as Hidden. Also make sure
that "Draft output" isn't checked in the Print Options.
