Check out pending loop

All,
If a user has a schedule "stuck", checked-out to them, and they try to
re-open in efforts to check the file in, they are able to open the file in
"Read Only". When they Close the file, Project Pro prompts the user to Save
the File (not sure why??). The PM selects "No", and receives an error. Then
Project Pro tries to synchronize data to the Server. The user ends up in a
loop, and the admin has to do a Force Check-In. Help!

The proper approach to a "stuck" checked out file is for the user to go to
PWA / Project Center and force the check-in themselves.

The way you describe will not work.
