We had been working fine until we had to rebuild today.
I have been working on Windows XP and did not have any
issues. Then a co-worker on NT 4.0 starting having
connection issues. Checked permissions and user accounts
but I could not find anything. Here is the message:

Connection failed:
SQL State: '01000'
SQL Server Error: 67
[Microsoft][ODBS SQL Server Driver][Named Pipes]
ConnectionOpen(CreateFile()).
Connection failed:
SQL State: '080001'
SQL Server Error: 67
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Client unable to
establish connection

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

Fiugred it out. Apparently NT does not automatically set
the connection type. A utility called cliconfig.exe must
be run to set the connection to the SQL Server.
