Clipboard item not collected

I try to use the copy and paste function and keep getting the message that
the Clipboard didn't collect the item I copied. Help please! I can't find
anything about this problem in any of the help resources. Thanks.

Steve,
Have you found an answer yet? We are having the same problem. It only
occurs in Virtual PC - but the version of MS Office doesn't seem to make a
difference. We haven't been able to find any information about it either . .
..
