Colouring cells

[Flash the Monkey Boy]

I am working on a project with multiple workstreams, and to enable me to see
who is doing what I thought it would be nice if I could colour code streams.

I cannot find how to do it. Is it even possible and how would I go about it?

Hi Flash,

Unless you are using Microsoft Project 2007, you cannot color the
background of the task sheet (left side) of the Gantt chart. However,
you can color code the Gantt chart bars by resource. If you have only
one resource per task assigned, follow the directions at FAQ 31 at:

Julie,

Thanks for the answer, it will stop me trying to do the impossible.
Unfortunately we have multiple resources on tasks so the colouring option
there will not work - but thanks for the tip!

I guess I will have to change font colour to highlight workstreams...
