Columns that are independent of each other would be excellent

Word should have columns that are independent of each other. This way, when
you type something, the corresponding text that is next to it does not move
when you add to it. This would be especially useful if you were creating
some type of phone directory. You could type in the name of the person and
in the next column type in their number, and you would not have the number
moving down each time you pressed enter in one of the columns.

Use TABLES and set the borders of the tables to NONE if you don't want them
to show.
