commands dialog hidden in Portfolio Analyser view

Hi,

I just created a new portfolio analyser view with a pivottable and a chart.
I tried to hide the 'commands and options dialog' for the users of this view,
both for the pivot table and the chart.

For the pivot table, the endusers don't see this dialog anymore,
but neither do I see while trying to modify the view as administrator.
So I'm not able anymore to fix the design problems with the pivot table.

Moreover, the endusers still see this dialog for the chart.

Can someone help me out ?

Regards,
Bart

I forgot to mention that although you can turn off the Field List dialog for
users, this setting only controls the initial display of the Portfolio
Analyzer view. Users can click the View Options tab at the top of the page,
and can then select the Field List checkbox option to see the dialog again.
Same goes with the display of the toolbars for them as well. Hope this
helps.

Dale,

I don't have a problem with the field list, but with the 'Commands and
options' dialog. The field list is still available, but the toolbar button
to display the 'Commands and options' dialog is greyed out, as well as the
option for it in the right-mouse-click menu.

I have the impression that although I'm in the Manage Views/Modify view
page, the pivot table is not really in design mode but in runtime mode
instead.

I also noticed that whenever I reopen the view to modify it, the toolbar,
field buttons, ... for the chart are visible again although I specified to
hide them. Probably because the chart component is in design made, as it
correctly should be.

Note: I'm using Project Server 2003 with SP1 installed and MS Office Project
Professional 2003 with SP1 installed
