Comment modification

When entering a comment, I get something like this:

John Doe:
Comment text appears here.

How do I remove the name John Doe?
How do I remove/change the yellow background of the comment? Can I
substitute a lightweight underscore?

The comment formatting cannot be changed. The name can be changed on the
User Information tab of Tools | Options. Delete the name from the Name
field. If this doesn't work, substitute a single space for the name.
