Comment numbering

I use PPT 2007 with a Vista OS. Is it possible to renumber comments? When I
delete a comment orgo back to an earlier slide to add a new comment, the
numbering ends up being out of sequence. I would like to be able to renumber
the comments. Thanks in advance
