Completed Tasks Question

I have marked tasks complete within a project. The task has zero time
remaining to it, however team members are still recording time to the task in
the timesheet view.

Can I remove the resources from the task and still have a record of time
(history) spent on the task and/or project?

If you remove resources from the task,
you lose all of the resource history.
