Conditional Format

When printing merged data, how can the format of a textbox, in particular the
color, be altered based on the content of another data element?

Hi Rick Walton (Rick (e-mail address removed)),
in the newsgroups
you posted:

Not using the existing implementation, no. If there is a way of doing it by
using the programming ability in the VBA, it may be possible.

Thank you for your reply. I've accomplished the task in an Access report,
but had to download a rotate text tool to get what I needed. The text box
format abilities in Publisher would be far more advantageous, but the types
of properties and events I'm used to seeing don't seem to be present. Am I
just missing something regarding using VBA in Publisher?

Publisher's VBA OM is rather different to Access's - it is far younger, for
a start.

If you want to discuss it in more detail, head on over to the .programming
group :)
