Conditional Formatting Info Path 2003

Why am I limited to 5 conditions?
My steps are: Section Properties/Display/Conditional Formatting/
Add.

If this condition is true:

Request Type is NOT equal to New Team
Member
Request Type is NOT equal to Department
Transfer
Request Type is NOT equal to Cube/Office
Move
Request Type is NOT equal to Vendor
Request Type is NOT equal to Temp

Then apply this formatting:

"Hide this control" IS checked

The button to add another line is grayed out. Why?????

I checked in "Preview Form" to see if these 5 conditions would work
and they do. I still need to add two more conditions though. Sooooo

I went back in and I choose "Add" again and added the other two
conditions by themselves.
That makes NONE of the conditions work.

I'm a beginner at this so please dumb it down for me. Thanks!

Hi tricia.

Yes the UI is limited to only having five.
If possible you simplify and say what is should be equal to rather than not
if that is less.

Otherwise what you want to do in the left hand drop down is select expression.
This will show the actual expression you have setup.
Then you can paste multiple expressions together, either all into one or
group a couple together.
So not a limitation of InfoPath just the interface.

Wow. You're quick.

I changed the left hand drop down to Expression and it automatically
changed the next field to...

The Expression ../my:HEADERSECTION1/
my:Hdr_RequestType != "New Team Member"
The Expression ../my:HEADERSECTION1/
my:Hdr_RequestType != "Department Transfer"
The Expression ../my:HEADERSECTION1/
my:Hdr_RequestType != "Cube/Office Move"
The Expression ../my:HEADERSECTION1/
my:Hdr_RequestType != "Vendor"
The Expression ../my:HEADERSECTION1/
my:Hdr_RequestType != "Temp"

I then Click OK on the screens and apply. I went right back in to the
conditions and it changed back to what I had before.

Request Type Is not equal to and so on.

Why does it change it back? Maybe I didn't understand what you were
saying.
