Confirmation on logic required please!

Hi again ,

I also am new to this group and ms project.

I just was wondering if someone could confirm if I have
applied the correct logic.

I have a project where I have changed the working week
hours to 30 and changed the working day to 6 hours ( as
I believe 1 hour of the day is unproductive and should be
counted. Our standard work week is 35 hours @ 7 hours per
day.

So when I assign a resource to a task at 30% , I assume
that this translates that the resource is able to work on
the task 30% of the 6 hours , ie 1.8 hours .

am I correct ?
