Help with table of contents formatting

I have a table of contents that I need to connect the end of the sentence
with dots to justify at the end of the line with the tab marker. How do I
insert those dots so that each line is at the exact same length?

The usual way would be to use the TOC styles and format the right-aligned
tab with dot leaders. This assumes, of course, that you're using Word's
built-in TOC utilities and the appropriate heading styles etc.

If you're manually-creating a TOC (ugh), simply format whatever paragraphs
you're using for this with a right-aligned tab with dot leaders.

Cheers
