connecting tables

I am trying to create a form that consists of several tables. (I have an existing form that I am basing my design on, but I'm fairly certain that *that* form was not created in Word and I'm trying to avoid the formatting problems that it has.) I would like these tables to be connected, not visually, but so that when you are in the last cell of one table, you can get into the first cell of the next table by pressing Tab.

Is this even possible? This is how it works with some of the forms I have currently, but I have no idea how they were created... Perhaps elvin magic was involved...

I appreciate any assistance that can be provided, even if it's telling me to ask this question somewhere else!

cell of the next table by pressing Tab.Are you creating the forms using the Forms toolbar, or something else? Please
be specific.

If you're using the Forms toolbar, once you protect the document as a form
(Tools/Protect document), TAB should work automatically.
