I'm on visio 2002.

two simple questions.

1. If I want connectors with arrows, I can't use the default connector
right? I have to find a connectors with an arror right? Like the Major
PipelineL/R right?

2. With some connectors including the default one, In some cases I
want to keep an elbo where it's at and extend from there, but when I
attempt to extend, the elbo extends too. How can I tell the connector,
don't move this elbo. For example

I have this:

----------------------
|
|
x some shape

I want this:

____________
|
|
x--------------------x some shape

but i get this:

________________________
|
|
x some shape

Thanks for any help or information!

Shape form is stored in the shapesheet (kinda like a spreadsheet). It is
stored in the Geometry section which can be manipulated either with code or
by the user. Some of the code that controls connectors can act autonomously
in ways that can be quite frustrating. This is usually based on selections
made by the user in "layout and routing" in the "page setup" of the file
menu.
