Contact email addresses

Jim

Exchange 2000, Win2000, OfficeXP
When sending an email in Outlook, if I click the "TO:"
button and then choose "contacts" from the "show names
from" dropdown box, the list is blank. The email addresses
from the contacts will not display.
If I go to the "properties" of the contacts and then
the "outlook address book" tab, the "show this folder as
an email address" IS checked.
Everything else seems to be fine. the contacts themselves
display properly and there are email adresses in them.
This works fine on all of our other machines except this
one. I searched Technet but didn't find anything.
Any ideas??
Thanks,
Jim

Just guessing, but is the client's delivery options set
the same as the rest?

If the client's delivery options are set to the personal
folders, rather than the exchange mailbox, the information
in the contacts folder will not show, unless the folder
has been set to synchronize with the mailbox.

Hope that helps...

I was given that same advice by a friend but alas.....it
didn't work. However, I will try it again.

Just tried that again and it didn't fix the problem. This
has got to be the wierdest thing I've seen. Funny thing
is, it used to work on this machine and it still works on
all other machines.
Any other ideas? Anyone?
